We Make Sure Patients Are Taking The Right Medicine
One of the most critical aspects of recovery is taking medications as directed. UPOC’s registered nurses help patients make sure they are taking the right medicine and the right dosage, at the right time, and according to the doctor’s orders. This includes organizing medicines and setting up reminders to keep patients on track.
Our medication training is detailed and carefully assessed to ensure that all of our carers are confident in managing their customers’ medication, including the reporting procedure and safeguarding processes in the unlikely event that a customer takes too much medication. Your personalised support plan will detail every aspect of the medications you take and how they are to be administered, along with relevant risk assessments for those medications that require it.
